DAVID LEWIS
David Allen Lewis, age 59, passed away Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his residence. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS in June at a date to be announced later by Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home.
Mr. Lewis was born April 1, 1963 at Columbus Air Force Base, Columbus, MS to the late Alton and Una Rea Lewis. He was the owner of 45 Body Shop and enjoyed auto body work. He was enthusiastic about sports, particularly football, baseball, and boxing. He enjoyed singing and participating in karaoke. He loved his loyal companion, Alice, his dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Kenneth McHenry. Mr. Lewis is survived by his sisters and brothers; Jeanette McHenry, Lawrenceburg, TN; Glenn Lewis, The Villages, FL; John Lewis, Columbus, MS; Sharon Anderson (Terry), Columbus, MS; and his best friend, Elizabeth Walker.

I was sorry to hear David had passed away. He was an outgoing person, and fun to be around. I enjoyed knowing him. He painted a car for me a year ago, and did a great job. I am glad I knew him.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. David was a dear classmate in School and loved by all. David was always so much fun to be around. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with David's family.
