Dario Stanley Obituary
Dario K. Garrett was born on October 30, 1990, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Monique Springer and Corey Garrett. At the time of his birth, Dario was anointed with the unique characteristic of having an upbeat personality that emanated not only throughout any room he set foot in, but also to everyone that encountered him.
Although he attended middle and high school for a brief time in Katy, Texas, Dario graduated high school from Belaire High School in Baton Rouge, La. After graduating from Belaire, Dario attended ITI Technical College in Baton Rouge, La. where he earned his Associate Degree in Process Technology and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. in Baton Rouge, La. where he earned his NCCER Millwright Certification.
Upon completion, he began his professional career in Industrial Construction where he held numerous positions.
Dario accepted Christ as a youth and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, La. He was involved in numerous youth activities at the church ranging from Sunday School to the choir. During his time in Texas, Dario participated in youth church activities at Southwest Community Baptist Center 'The Bridge'.
Dario left this life to join our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 26, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy: his children Braylen Garrett (Gonzales, La.) and Madeline Garrett (Baton Rouge, La.), mother Monique Springer (Baton Rouge, La.), father Corey Garrett (Houston, TX), stepmother Reenishia Washington (Houston, TX), stepfather Jerome Robertson (St. Gabriel, La.), brother Gerome Springer, sister Paula Springer (both Baton Rouge, La.), sister Morgan Garrett (Houston, TX), grandparents (Baton Rouge, La.), special friend Ieshia Payton (Gonzales, La.), special friend Meagan Smart (Baton Rouge, La.), a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, extended family, friends and lastly, but definitely not least, all "his homies".
