Cohila Traylor Obituary

Cohila LuSati Traylor was born October 6, 1982 to Mary and Henry Traylor in Murphysboro, Illinois and was raised in Carbondale.

She received her education in the Carbondale School System, graduating from Carbondale Community High School in 2000.  Cohila worked in a host of restaurants in Florida where she previously resided before returning home.  Her main job was being a mother to her three children.

On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 39 God picked the most beautiful flower to adorn his Garden.  Cohila leaves to cherish her memories her three children, Javarous Traylor of Florida, Dazaun Travis and Kelisia Berry of Carbondale; her parents, Mary and Henry Traylor of Carbondale; brothers, Kim Traylor(Stephanie) of Texas, Ronald Traylor(Marissa) of Atlanta, Mark Traylor of California, LuKyan Traylor(Nikki) of Florida, Musenda Traylor of Atlanta and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cohila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Roberta Ray, Alice Ford and her sister, Melanie Woods.

Cohila "Coco" Traylor, 39, departed this life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her home.
 
Services were held at 12 pm on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Olivet Free Will Baptist Church.
