Cirly Owens Obituary

Cirly Wayne Owens, Jr. AKA “lil Wayne “33, of Bowling Green, Ky gained his wings on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Bowling Green Medical Center.

"Lil Wayne" was born on May 25th, 1989, in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Tamekia Davidson and Curly Owens, Sr.    He attended Warren Central High School until his illness started to affect his ability to attend every day in person, after that he continued his high school education through home schooling.  "Lil Wayne" was big on family as well as a strong young man. He was a fighter until the good Lord called him home by saying “Well done my son, Well done”.  He often attended Seventh Street Baptist Church where Rev. Don Duvall is the pastor. 

He leaves to mourn his passing: Mother: Tamekia Davidson, a special father: Keith Wright and father: Curly Owens, Sr.; a step-son: Zion Beck as well as his special friend: Daquantaia  Beck; sisters:  Lastameon Davidson, Khaleah Edmonds and K'Mariyah Potter: stepsister: Jakayla Smith; brothers: Leeautrick Owens (Zanisha Green), LaQuante Beck, Aron Strange (Heaven Butler), Antonious Owens (Chelsea Owens), McKenzie Strange and Michael Clark; stepbrother: JaQuan Smith; special uncle: Quentin Edmonds; grandparents: William and Ruby Wright of Mississippi and Ruby Edmonds of Bowling Green and a host nieces, nephews, uncle, aunts, cousins and friends.  Grandmother, Peggy Vaugh that precedes him in death.
