Caroline Dunakin Obituary

Grand Isle, VT--Caroline Joyce Dunakin, 83, passed away 06/05/2022 at Our lady of the Meadows.

Caroline was born on November 14, 1938 in Burlington, VT, the Daughter of Charles Dunakin and Edith Pecor.

Caroline was an LNA a good portion of her working life at Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury and Fletcher Allen.

Caroline was always the life of the party, and enjoyed gardening, and bird watching.

She is survived by her children, Ellwyn Poquette Jr., Gail (Wayne) Alexander, Sandra (Kevin) Kayhart, her sister Juanita Lacaillade, grandchildren Brennan Poquette, Jason Poquette, Isaac Liberty, Maryrose Maynard, Jessica LaVoie, Dara Bessette, Stacey Thomann, Jesse Stearns, Chris Jerome, Justin Whitney, Ray Jr. Poquette, Misty Flores, Jeremy Francis, Amy Barbeau, Danielle Barbeau, and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Charles Dunakin; mother, Edith Pecor;

She was also predeceased by her Children, Kathleen Santor, Raymond Poquette, and Donna Poquette Cross.

And Siblings, Harold Dunakin, Walter Dunakin, Donald Dunakin, Arlene Rougier, Ruby Lanoue and Agnes LeClare.
