Brian Beke Obituary

Brian, I will always remember how much of a great guy you were. You have always been a respected friend and I will remember your kindness towards everyone who was blessed to have met you. Till we see you again in heaven. ✞

Brian did bulldozer work on our property off and on for years. He was always so thoughtful and would do extra things we hadn’t asked him to do, and never charged us for them. He was such a good and kindhearted person. When he was here working I always enjoyed chatting with him, he was hilarious and kept me laughing. We’ll sure miss seeing you, Brian. Praying for Brandi and your beautiful children of whom you were so proud.

Brian was such a wonderful caring guy. We were not best friends but talked every now and then on the phone just to vent and or ask each others opinions or just to say hi. From what i know about him, he would have given me the shirt off his back if i ever asked. That says a lot about a man and his character... and yes Brian was also a character. Fun and easy to get along with. I will say that i will miss him and our chats and i know that many of you who were much closer to him will miss him even more. Know this, when you make it to heaven you wont have to look for him, im sure he will find you as soon as you get there... and those of you who know him know thats exactly what he will do. Show you around and make sure you are comfortable. He was an amazing heart filled man and i will forever be glad that we were friends.

Brian we have been friends since highschool and you have never changed from the easy going fun lovin and always there to help someone out. Going to miss all the Facebook joking around and living life to the fullest pictures. RIP my friend you are going to be missed.

I would like to say so many things, but I’m going to leave it at always find the fireflies ❤❤ You all mean so much to Brian. I know he told you that, but he also told people in private and that means so much that you all are always in his heart and on his mind and he is so so proud of his family.

We just heard about Brian's passing. Condolences to his beloved family who we heard stories of but never met. A big hearted, funny and kind person, we will miss his help and teasing of us rookie tractor owners. RIP Brian.

The world is a little dimmer and heaven is a little brighter! Brian was an exceptional man, one of the very best. Our conversations always started with dirt work, land clearing or parking lots and always ended with stories of his family, the land they were working hard on where they hunt, what his kids were up to and there was always laughter because he was always cracking a joke and was just a funny guy! He is probably on a skid steer in heaven rearranging the place right now! Man this one is tough, I honestly still can't believe it's real...

Rest Easy Dirt Pimp... I'll see you again in heaven!

Gone too soon. We met you when you helped clear our land for our home and we knew then what a special man you were. Following you through the past few years on instagram and facebook we got to learn about your love for your family. We prayed for you daily while you were in the hospital. Checked everyday to see if you had improved. Our prayers are now for your sweet family you loved so much. Rest in peace Brian.

Brian was one of the good ones. I feel blessed to have known him. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.

We never met Brian, but Brandi was part of our family. Therefore her family was our family. We know what it is like to lose a loved one before their time, and the pain that it brings. Time will heal, but never fill that spot in our heart that is missing. Love and sympathy to the Beke family.

My friend, your light in this world was a bright one. One filled with humor. I miss our serious conversations we had. Life, love, the world. I am glad we had those. I cherish them because I suspect I was among the few you had such talks with. You will forever hold a sacred spot in my heart. I'm gonna miss you Slim.

I was blessed to know Brian in high school, and even more blessed that as adults, we stayed friends. We reconnected with our love of the coast, and through that, I got to know Brandi and the kids, and my husband Scott and son Ryley got to know them as well, with Brian and Scott quickly becoming friends. While we have many memories from high school, but I won't bore you with tales of our shenanigans from Magnolia HS. The ones I keep coming back to are more recent. Brian earning his nickname "Beanbag" on an offshore fishing trip, and we still think he may have been responsible for the boat coming loose and floating away down the intercoastal, but he would deny that. On weekends we were in Matagorda and the Beke family in Sergeant, he would load the family up on the boat and ride the intercoastal to Matagorda, just to hang out for a few hours. They would pull up to the dock, a cold beer in hand, and the kids ready to dive off and play. Those hours are precious to me, especially now as I think of the jokes and laughter and the joy of watching our kids play with crabs and fish. Brian met his perfect match in Brandi, her warmth and kindness a complement to Brian's humor and good nature. He was so proud of his family, and loved his children so much. His eyes would sparkle when he watched them play. The McElroy family sends their love and prayers to Brandi, Joseph, and Madi during this difficult time. May God bring you peace and comfort.

Brian was the first person I reached out to on social media to ask for guidance about getting started in dirt work he welcomed me like we already knew each other. He is the reason I grew as fast as I have I could not have done it without him. I looked forward to his post we definitely had similar senses of humor I will miss you brother definitely one of a kind. Prayers and strength to your family.

It was an honor and a pleasure to host your wedding reception at our restaurant on Ambergris Caye, Belize. You were such a fun couple and in hindsight, it's no surprise that you were the only couple who we stayed in contact with long after the wedding. I pray that God grants Brandi, Joseph, and Madison comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Brian..There are so many memories from our childhood up until now. Whether we were cracking jokes in school or talking seriously about life. I always listened to what you had to say. I can honestly admit that you were one of the most popular people I know. As I have read all over the Net. And Brandi, I’m happy to have met the woman/mother of his children. You welcomed me into y’all’s home our 20th class reunion. And I saw how much he loved you. And when I got married in July down in Port Aransas on the beach. I knew that I wanted a wedding just like y’all’s because I could see the love y’all had for each other. The last time I ran into y’all he was giving me a hard time about some flowers I just bought. And you were getting on him for razzing me. But that’s just how him and I were with each other. I had the utmost respect for him. Not only as a friend but as the man he became. You Brian Beke will be missed by everyone who you touched in life. I don’t say goodbye but I will say till we see each other again Brother

Dear Joseph, and Madison, I only got to meet your dad once while I was visiting your mom for a week in Texas when she was pregnant with Joseph. I will say that I have known your mom as long as I can remember, and what I most remember from that trip is how absolutely happy your dad made your mom. She was always a happy kid and grown up, but she was clearly the happiest she’d ever been. Your dad was the friendliest guy even to us visitors from Seattle! He even loved your mom so much that I think he made it up North a few times, and from what I gather that means he loved her more than is imaginable! He was the most texan Texan I’d ever met and he was super funny. I know you will miss him so much and I hope you know that your dad will always be with you. Brian was one of a kind. We met somewhere around the late 80's early 90's. I wish I had pictures to explain the Brian I knew. If you are reading this as one of Brian's kids in the future, just know he had a heart of gold. Oh and look up 90's jam pants and you will see what we consider comfortable. Rest easy my friend, hope Heaven has a lot of fish, deer and dirt to keep you busy.

Knowing Brian just from Facebook and social I’ve learned to respect him for everything he did for our community of dirt workers and land clearing contractors. He was always the first to give advice and always ready to crack a joke or share a funny moment with us. From all of our heart we will miss him and we will never forget our brother. He showed nothing but love and care for his family. He took pride in his kids and everything they ever did. As a young father I aspire to be like him. From my wife and I we share the deepest of condolences to the family and closest friends.
