Brandon Michael Salinas, born on April 7, 1997, to parents Bernardo and Maria Salinas, gained his wings, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Brandon had an enormous love for his family and friends. He joined the Brotherhood of Linemen in July of 2020, and his dream was to follow in his father's footsteps and become a lineman. He loved music, sports, and his father's BBQ. He especially enjoyed family gatherings, holidays and vacations with family and friends. He lit up a room with his beautiful smile, laughter, and sharp sense of humor.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Francisco Salazar Jr., and Eusebio Salinas Sr.; great-grandmother, Santiaga Leal; cousins, Klarissa Adriana Jimenez, and Frankie Gonzalez; several great aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his parents, Bernardo and Maria Salinas; sister, Amber, and husband Daniel; brother, Cristian; niece, Sophia; grandmothers, Alicia Salazar, and Petra Salinas; Tio's, Norberto, and wife Wyomie, Juan Manuel (Beatle) Salazar and wife Elizabeth, Jose Francisco (Joey) and wife Wendy, Velial Salinas and wife Annette, Eusebio Salinas Jr. and wife Mary; Tia's, Michelle Applewhite, Annette Salazar, partner, Ben Varela, Annabelle Dempsey and husband Mark; cousins, Norby Jr., Luther, Charles, Sonny, Marco, Jonathon, Kevin, Zoee, Chloe, Emalee, Ruby, Frankie, Roseanne, Andrea, Anthony, Adriana, Eddie, Jerrika, Blanca, DeAnndra, Tricia, Veronica, Rudy; Godfathers, Joe Carrizales, Steven Frausto, Joseph Carrizales; numerous great aunts, uncles, extended cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm; Hurley Funeral Home-Lytle, Chapel, 14822 North Main Street, Lytle, Texas 78052.
Mass will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 14831 North Main Street, Lytle, Texas.
Services will conclude at the church.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I was fortunate to have worked with Brandon. His smile and kindness stood out however when he wanted to be stern he certainly was that but always closed out with that grand smile.
I also remember Brandon would randomly wish me Happy Birthday when it was no where near my birthday. He would have the whole store wishing me happy birthday. Such a joker.
