Anthony "AJ" Conneilly Obituary
Anthony “AJ” J. Conneilly, 22, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at his home. He was born in Melrose, MA, a son of Scott and Valerie (Heinstrom) Conneilly.
AJ graduated from Methuen High School, class of 2017. He was a member of the Methuen High School Wrestling Team that won the Merrimack Valley Championship and had been a member of ROTC. He worked for South Shore Gunite in Billerica, MA. AJ loved the card game Magic: The Gathering and made many good friends through it. He loved animals, reptiles specifically and he enjoyed his trips to Maine. He spent most of his time either working or with his friends.
He is survived by his mother; Valerie Conneilly of Manchester, NH, by his father; Scott Conneilly and his wife Alisa of Methuen, MA, by his siblings; Tiffany Conneilly of France, Nathan Shake of Methuen, Kevin Conneilly of Manchester and Scott Conneilly, Jr. of Methuen, by his maternal grandmother; Jean Hill of Manchester, by his paternal grandmother; Sandra Saari and her husband George of Ashby, MA, by his paternal grandfather; Kevin Conneilly and his wife Kathleen of Billerica. He is also survived by his niece; Elyana Laborie of France and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A funeral service will follow Thursday at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Suicide Prevention c/o NAMI NH, 85 North State Street, Concord, NH 03301.
